Mirasol is a personal project where I developed a smart companion app designed for parents in the UK, aimed at helping them protect their children from sun damage. The visual identity and illustrations are inspired by the sunflower, which reflects the brand name "Mirasol," meaning sunflower in Spanish.

During my time in the UK, I realised that many parents are unaware of sun safety measures tailored to their child’s specific skin type, ethnicity, and conditions. I was also shocked to learn that most of our lifetime sun exposure happens before the age of 18. Given that parents play a critical role in ensuring their children are equipped to protect themselves from harmful UV rays, I was inspired to create a solution that simplifies sun safety and makes it more effective for young children.
